Cúirt Kitchen Readings

Pablo NerudaCover of Pablo Neruda "“Poetry is like bread. It should be shared by all, by scholars and the man on the street corner, by all our vast, incredible, extraordinary family of humanity."
That is what Pablo Neruda, the Nobel Prize winning poet from Chile, had to say about poetry.
In order to bring and share poetry with the widest possible audience, to share it with the extraordinary family of humanity, the Cúirt Festival, in cooperation with Galway Public Libraries, this year has organised a number of Kitchen Reading where poetry will be 'shared like bread'.
The Kitchen Readings take place on Wednesday 25 April (Ballybane) and on Thursday 26 April (Westside).
Poet Robyn Rowland will read in two kitchens in the Ballybane area on the Wednesday of Cúirt week and, on the Thursday, Robyn Rowland will read in two kitchens in the Westside area.
To attend the kitchen readings and for further details about the event, phone Ballybane Library at 091-380590 or Westside Library at 091-520616."
